What are your main inspirations?

What inspires us is the power we wield to empower Black and African youth around the world. Our main aim is to penetrate the arts and culture scene around the world.

What was the biggest turning point in your entrepreneurial journey?

Honestly, the passing of our co-founder, Shace, is what put the battery in our back. We realized it rests on us to make sure we take things to a level that will make our brother proud up there.

Quels sont tes principales inspirations?

Ce qui nous inspire, c'est le pouvoir que nous avons de donner du pouvoir aux jeunes Noirs et Africains à travers le monde. Notre objectif principal est de rentrer dans la scène artistique et culturelle à l'échelle mondiale.

Jusque là, quel a été le plus grand tournant dans ton parcours entrepreneurial?

Honnêtement, la disparition de notre co-fondateur Shace est ce qui nous a donné l'énergie nécessaire. Nous avons réalisé que c'était à nous de nous assurer que nous élèverons les choses à un niveau qui rendra notre frère fier là-haut.

How would you describe your creative process?

It always starts with finding sustainable solutions to social problems, then we go ahead to research our approach and find an abstract way to design. Then we have a finished, rare FTY design.

What piece of advice would you give to young aspiring African designers/entrepreneurs?

Keep pushing! People might think you're crazy in the beginning, but a great end always justifies the beginning.

What’s next for your brand?

Greatness! The FTY brand is going to keep growing bigger and better.

Quel est ton processus créatif?

Tout commence toujours par la recherche de solutions durables aux problèmes sociaux, puis nous procédons à la recherche de notre approche et trouvons une manière abstraite de concevoir. Ensuite, nous obtenons une conception FTY finie et unique.

Quel conseil donnerais-tu à des designers/entrepreneurs africains en herbe?

Continuez à persévérer ! Les gens pourraient penser que vous êtes fou au début, mais une belle fin justifie toujours le début.

La grandeur ! La marque FTY continuera de croître en taille et en qualité.
